Professor Dongsheng Wen obtained his DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, after his BEng in Aeronautics (1997) and MSc in Thermophysics (2000) from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Tsinghua University respectively. Prior to his current Chair position, he had worked in various academic positions at the Queen Mary University of London. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), a Fellow of Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of Institute of Nanotechnology (FION), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Energy Engineer, and a Chartered Scientist (CSci). Prof. Wen’s research covers a wide spectrum of nanotechnology and engineering science, centered around applied nanomaterials for energy applications, including; Nanofluids technology; Nanotechnology for oil and gas; Multiscale modelling; Multiphase flow and heat transfer; Nanofuel technology and Nanowave technology.
